Entrepreneurship is scaling up in the country in several forms, namely small-scale business entrepreneurship, scalable start-up entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, and large company Entrepreneurship. For graduates wanting to engage in entrepreneurship in the country, knowledge management and access to capital (both debt and equity) are proving more challenging. At the same time, several established companies look to run divestment programs.

The Entrepreneurship Forum invites banks, traders, advisors, and operators to share knowledge on debt and equity financing in projects, with practical examples from successful entrepreneurs and those operating in challenging circumstances.

GREF will empower and support the 500 existing graduates in the country to successfully engage in entrepreneurship in the country. We will develop a user program that will complement best practices of enabling graduates to garner confidence and be competitive in the labor market. This activity will sharpen their skills and knowledge concerning employment and enable them to transform knowledge into practice. It will also enable graduates and aspirants for self-employment to come up with innovative approaches to extend products and services through entrepreneurship.

In putting learning into practice, GREF will set a platform where graduates will benefit from a mentorship scheme where existing companies and individuals in positions of power will mentor each and guide them through every stage of the subsequent opportunities. This mentorship program will also be given media coverage through various media outlets, thereby encouraging the mentors to further opportunities for graduates from their positions of influence. Photographs and video clips will also be documented and stored, and a Facebook address will be opened to update the stakeholders on their progress.
